Classes are well planned, varied and fun and use lots of different pieces of gym equipment, that are fully explained. Booking online or through the app is easy. I generally book on to classes and then make myself show up even if I am not feeling like exercising... I am always glad I went! I wish I had found something like this years ago!"

"I saw a new gym opening up - Nexus. I was so pleased to see it was Katy, who I had met any years ago in another running club alongside her mum. So I instantly new it would be the place for me. And I was right. Katy is very funny, approachable and explanatory. She is such an easy person to like and has the ability to make you feel at ease, as does Sarah, who is also amazing. I have pretty much attended 2/3 classes a week since it's opened... I have become completely addicted to keeping fit and leave the classes on a high that lasts for days. The improvement has been amazing, not only on my body and fitness but my mental health and physical wellness. I can't recommend this gym enough. I have met new friendly, taken my own friends with me and will continue my new found love of Nexus. It's like one big family, full of familiar faces and new faces... and all super friendly."

"I was so incredibly nervous about starting, it took everything in me to walk in the doors, but I can honestly say I haven't felt intimidated at all and Lucy is such a fantastic trainer with the patience of a saint! I broke my back from years ago and still have big issues with it. I have a dodgy knee and an arthritic hip but Lucy is aware of all of this and very discreetly adapts the exercises that I struggle with so I don't feel stupid! "I’ve always valued the importance of exercise for good physical and mental health but having three children in 5 years meant very little time for self care! Equally I’ve always struggled with motivation in the typical gym environment so before Nexus even opened I liked the concept of the studio and small group classes. I’ve been going to Nexus since it opened in August and can honestly say I love it; it doesn’t feel like a chore and I genuinely enjoy everything about it, the coaches, the members and my increased fitness from the classes. The range of classes and timetable across the week means I can easily fit around my different work and childcare commitments to always be able attend a class when I’m free. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive and I’ve never felt nervous or scared to try something new!
