Karen joined us back in February '22 for our second Introduction to Running course! In just 8 weeks she went from run-walking intervals to running for 4 miles continuously! A huge achievement!
Karen had joined us for bootcamps in the past and had become an expert at squats, lunges and kettlebells! But running? That was completely new! Since 'graduating' her course Karen has become a much loved member of Nexus Runners, she has taken part in our away days, completed her first Park Run and... continues to improve her fitness and running with every session!
